Nebulosity

Have bought this programme for my DSI and MacBook combo.

Has anybody had any experience or have any tips on using it, haven't even tried to use it yet, the clouds have been terrible and the cloudless nights that we have had i have had to get up at 04:30 to go to work: it's just not fair

I have it on my mac, i suggest you have a play first - download a tutorial , i still do my processing elsewhere - i think Jase's adivce is to learn any program really well, seems good to me.
After you have had a play maybe ask some more specific questions.

I use 3 programs for my imaging workflow - ImagesPlus, Photoshop CS4 and (more increasingly) Nebulosity.

Still do stacking and calibration in ImagesPlus through VMware Fusion running Vista on my Intel Mac, but I find Nebulosity(Mac) very useful for aligning and scaling separate files, eg RGB image taken a month ago with a Ha image taken last week - very easy to use - Although Nebulosity seems to save files in .fit format which need to be converted to TIFFs. That can probably be changed, just haven't explored the program thoroughly yet. Seems pretty easy to use. I'm using V1.8.

Craig_L uses Nebulosity for focus/capture at the scope very effectively too.

I'm sure you'll have little trouble travelling the learning curve with this program.

have you read the manual-? its available under the help menu-and most questions should be answered there

Its a very simple program to use. I use it for capture and also for stacking. For the price it is real value for money
