Fireflies and Southern Cross

Outside last eve to watch the pass of HST/Shuttle ..... and took few other shots with the beautiful fireflies whizzing around.

Oh, the fireflies are the little greenish dashes at the bottom right.

Nice wide field there Liz.
The head of the Emu stands out nicely next to Crux. Well done.

I have only seen firefies once and that was at the lsat IIS Astro-camp at Lostock.
I thought I was seeing things for a while but they were very quick little critters.
