Not really recommended for imaging-but a great second or third grab and go take anywhere scope. Nice views -for a 70 Mm short tube achromat- especially from a dark site.
terrific for camping..used it toss it in the back of the car anytime we went anywhere and was always handy to have. Looks just like any other suitcase in the boot.

scope shows signs of use of course, because it has been used a lot.
asking $250 with the 884 tripod (the much better tripod that comes with the ETX 125 or 90-so you can use the wedge to mount the scope in polar mode if you wish). I have thrown away the original tripod, that was rubbish.
Sydney pick up preferred at this stage..postage would be extra anywhere else and I have no idea how much it would be...possibly quite a bit because of the tripod.
I loved this little fellow. But I have not used it since October 2007 and it seems pointless to just keep it sitting. I have too many other scopes and binos, is my problem.
