I bought this refractor from AOE 2 or 3 years ago:
- 80mm F7.5, achromat
- sliding dew shield
- tube rings
- has a 2 inch rack and pinion focuser which was already fitted when I bought it
- comes with a home made wooden case.
It's in good condition, a couple of minor marks on the tube and there are some small spots of paint coming off the inside of the dew shield which I have not repaired. Overall, it's a very nice scope - light and easy to use, great for taking away on holiday or just popping outside. There is a little colour/aberration on very bright objects but the F ratio seems to be a good balance in this respect. My reason for the sale is that I am not using it now, having just made a larger refractor.
