Deep Skystacker Tip.

after doing a series of shots in RAW mode the other night and not being happy with the processed results (my lack of skill in this area) l decieded to do exactly the same exposures in JPEG's last night and see how that went.
then l found out that DSS will not process dark frames with JPEG's so now l have 2 hours worth of data full of noise.
just a tip for the new guys that may not know.

I came across this problem last year.
Frustrated the hell out of me until I figured out what the problem was.
Don't toss your data though, try IRIS instead.

I think it will..
Only, it wants the same format (CR2 and JPEG can not be mixed).

However, jjjnettie is right.. go for iris, it is so much more than just stacker.
