made an adapter plate for focuser (installed on scope now)

Hi all,

Just thought I would post and image of the adapter plate I made up at work so I can attach the new jmi focuser to the telescope.

In the pic I still need to polish the adapter, but gives you an idea.

Just a follow up on the focuser, I have installed it on the scope now, in between the rain which has been going on and on all day. Pic can be found at:

http://www.theastroweb.com/astronomy...mifocuser2.jpg

Image shows a 25mm Plossl eyepiece in the focuser pointing out of the dome while I was checking the focus point. I am glad to say I didn't have to move the mirror back or forwards as I thought I would have. Focus point was spot on, tried inside and outside focus, the star test showed the secondary in the middle on inside and outside of focus, something that I couldn't achieve before. Moving focus was really smooth and easy.

I came back inside here and downloaded the images off the camera, then started posting this note, I could hear a dog barking out the back but didn't take notice. OOOOOOPS!!!!!!!! I accidently locked our dog in the Observatory , needless to say she was not very happy to see me when I let her out. She always lays at my feet when I am out in the dome.
