Solar prom

Taken the other day with SMax60 on NP101mm and toucam. Not to good on the processing but still learning.

A good catch, Phil. Well done.
If you haven't already found it, SOLAR LAYERs from Trefach Astronomy Centre by Andrew Sprott (freeware) is well worth playing with.
I've just tried to get their website to link it but it appears to be down.

Well done.
Seeing images like this makes me want to procure a Solar scope for myself.

Some of my first observing experiences back in the 70"s ( showing my age now ) was observing ther Sun via the projection method, and it still holds a great fascination today.

keep it up....
