Moon and Jupiter

Got this conjunction lass than an hour ago
2 x 1/8sec ISO 200 shots with 6 inch F3.6 Meade Cometracker schmidt newtonian

Gee thats 2 conjunctions with the moon and planets in just a few nights, the moins being nice to us

Good shot! And another one I didn't know about yet stumbled on by accident while watering the garden. I gotta say this gardening is tipping me off to a lot of good astronomy events.

Anyway my 2 shots. First colour shot with my little Nikon Coolpix 2100 and the second with my Mintron video camera using a 200mm lens set to f5.6. Frame integration was set to 12X with 122 stacked. Looks like 3 of Jupiter's moons are visible and some stars.

Nice work people..Robin,three of the galilean moons ..Kevin , all four

I had a quick look, it was blowing a gale, brrrrrr
went inside and stayed there..too cold for me!happy to let you people do all the work on a night like this

Great work guys, I need to pay more attention to astronomy 2005, as I didn't know about the Venus or Jupiter conjunction with the moon until I saw it that night!

Someone needs to warn us lazy folk!
