Showdown in snake valley Part II

Ok experts, when i am looking through the different eye pieces in my 10" dob at snake valley, what are the 3!! immediate things that you notice about an eyepiece. if i am to classify eyepieces, how do i compare them?

true ken and with my trusty laptop and dob, i intend to put it together as much as possible. i am getting excited. i have star camp at the end of november and then we have v8 supercars in the corporate box and pit tours with marcus ambrose at symmons plains on the 12th november.... oh and the odd aurora to have a rip at!!!!

The Star Camp is actually at the end of Oct and start of Nov.

The moon is a tough test on eyepieces for light scatter and ghosting.
How much light can you see when you place the moon just outside the field of view.
