Barlow advice

I am looking for a 2x barlow for use on my WO 66 petzval scope - there is a vixen shorty from astrocorp for $65 - has anyne used one. The scope can be fussy about ep/barlows gaining focus - does anone know can I use shorty barlows. I could get either a 1.25 or 2" model
thanks

Concerning getting focus. Most barlows should not be a problem. I have a 3x teleview,it extends the focal position when pushed all the way in. You can compensate for this by pulling it out a short way and locking it in place. For a refractor, i would buy a shorty barlow. You can place these either side of your diagonal, and get the benifet of multiple powers.
