is the peak at the end of Dec10

caused by this

is the bright object a solar flare ?

Agreed, my post was vague oh and there is this one as well

What I wanted to know was if the spike in Electron flux was caused by the bright spot on the sun

Basically I am trying to work out how to interpret the data from http://www.n3kl.org/sun/noaa.html
