I noticed links to this in my searches on these and other sites and the link listed did not work. And on a recent search of the LX90 yahoo groups i found the proper new link. Looks like Pete changed his ISP. The link is also on the IIS links page but that too is out of date, so it would be great if the mods could kindly update it. Its a very good site.
I was wondering where Pete's website got to, we had a link in the Links section, I will ask Mike to update it. There's a wealth of information on Pete's site, thanks for the information Fahim.
Phil, it was your post that lead me to the non-working link. In fact i think it has been referenced few times on her. I am glad that i finally got to read it, i learned quiet a bit about polar alignment method for the LX90. I had not realized the one star method was the better one to use, i assumed one star meant a quick dirty alignment for fast setup. The have read almost the entire site now and its been very helpful looks like the LX90 has more potential than I thought.
Fahim, I'm glad you managed to find it, I've googled many times, to see if Pete had reposted his site elsewhere, but turned up nothing. The site is certainly helpful and, given the results he has achieved, it's well worth persevering. Now that we have the link again, I'll be trying again with my LX, after having a rather disasterous run at Astrofest, which I believe was due to a problem with my APM. I still haven't worked out whether I have a faulty APM, a problem software version or some other issue, but my handbox is very buggy with the APM plugged in.
