[SOLD] Optolong 2” L-Ultimate + UV/IR Cut & Filter drawer

Due to changing to mono I’m selling my OSC accessories. Happy to sell separately and discuss shipping, but I’m located in Perth for pickup.
For sale:
- Optolong 2” L-Ultimate ($315)
- ZWO 2” UV/IR Cut ($50)
- ZWO M42 Filter Drawer ($75)

All are in perfect condition functionally, the l-ultimate is the only one with a few cosmetic scratches on its thread.

Hi there - I’m new to Iceinspcae. Have you sold the two filters? I’m presuming the “U"-Ultimate is supposed to be L-Ultimate?

Whoops, must have missed that typo, it is the l-ultimate No, the filters haven’t been sold yet

Oh! that’s great! I’m interested. The L-Ultimate is the 2”, 3nm dual band. I’m tossing up that versus the Quad Band. How have you found the L-Ultimate? I hear it’s better with halos.

I can't say I've ever stress-tested it against bright stars, but I've never had issues with halos even with the usual candidates like Alnitak - the ultimate is well known for controlling halos better than the extreme. I haven't tried the quad band, but my understanding was that it was for broadband targets..

Thanks Lachlan, sorry - not used to Iceinspace - didn’t even know you replied.
So, I’m just checking into a bit more which filter I should get. I’ll come back to if I decide to go with the L-Ultimate. Wish I could buy everything I wanted all at once!
