Deciding to dip my toe back in the Astrophotography waters after a hiatus of about eight years, I thought I'd repro some data I took back in 2012 of M16. I've attached said repro to this post if anyone's interested.
It was taken using a QHY8L through a GSO RC8 scope. I think it's about 90 minutes of exposures taken from my backyard in Brisbane. I'm not too concerned about colours, rather I was more interested in detail.
I'm currently refreshing myself with all my astro gear that has sat dormant while I concentrated on doing a PhD over the last six years. Who knows, I may even take it out of the rumpus room and into the backyard and do some imaging!
