ZWO filter wheel light leak

I decided to do a Sharpcap sensor analysis today on my ASI294MC Pro and was surprised by a 1 second exposure being very white despite the lens cap on my Esprit being in place.
A bit of covering here an there identified the source as the interface between the camera and the filter wheel. For now I've put tape around the interface which has fixed the issue.
Has anyone else seen this issue?

Jim

I use the ZWO 7x2” EFW in my Newts and it was supplied with darkening rings ( gaskets ) which eliminates light leaks between camera and adapter/ coma corrector.
I’ve even taken my dark library during the day on the kitchen table with no issues at all. I thought I would need black PVC electrical tape but the joints are sealed 100% including the wheel itself.
I use both ZWO 2600MC and 2600MM cameras

Cheers
Martin
