Lagoon M8 mono ?

Hi everyone

The sky has been clear, and even with
the Moon up I thought
I might do something different and try
a few nights to collect data of one target,
and prosess it as one image.

Something I have not done before.

Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, I think I may
have selected incorrect settings as it is now
in mono.

Dual narrowband.

Oh well...I'm still happy with the results.

Lagoon nebula M8.

Best of 216 subs.

177 stacked.

37 x 180s
40 x 120s
139 x 90s

Aprox 6.6hrs.

72mm Skywatcher ED

0.8 flattener reducer

Optolong L Enhance

ZWO 533MCPro 101 gain -10C dithered

Sywatcher AZ-EQ6 GT

Lots of resolution lost in downsizing for posting.

Thanks for looking.

Paul.

Great work. NB is just the thing for nebula with a refractor and a little LP. A solid project.

Lots of great sharp detail

Well done - lots of detail to be seen in the gas clouds that might be hard to see in a colour image.

If you still have all the raw data, why not try stacking again and see what comes out?
