I'm forced to deal with some changing circumstances at home, meaning either this Officina Stellare, or my big Takahashi refractor system really have to go. Quite possibly both.
I'm also taking expressions of interest in a SkyWatcher EQ8 mount only, and if anyone is especially interested in a 2.3 metre Sirius Observatories dome with motorised rotation that can be NINA controlled, please get in touch.
Hi amazing astro community of Australia. I am overwhelmed with the supportive messages I've received! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
In short, both of my daughters have been diagnosed with learning challenges that are going to require me to reprioritise my hobbies both in terms of time but also expenses. At the same time as that my job is going through a change of management and that has included downsizing etc etc. It's not like I've contracted ebola through my eyeballs or anything, but my kids come first.

I'm not ditching the hobby altogether, I plan to retain a modest setup for astrophotography work, but my dreams of putting the big Tak and RH200 side by side in the dome are well and truly done.

I've put the ad up for the dome, and will start listing remaining scopes shortly.
I also have an additional adapter for the RH200 coming which will increase the amount of backfocus past the focuser which will make it easier to set up more combinations of photography gear.
I've received an offer on this RH200 from a business, and to them I am extremely grateful. They also understand that I would be able to get more than their offer (potentially) via a private sale, so I'm going to leave this up here for another 48 hours while I'm sorting out details on something else.
