Core Rising

Been very nice nights up here in SE Qld. Got this one south of Ipswich. Composite shot as I always do with my nightscapes, but my self rule is same area same time.

Foreground was Sony A7R4 @ 16mm. 6 shots stocked ISO 1600 and 30 seconds each, F2.8. Processed in Lightroom, stacked and finished in photoshop.

Sky was Sony A7 Astro modded with light pollution filter, 6 shots tracked and stacked on my Star Adventure at 24mm, ISO 3200, 1 minute each, F4. Stacked in Pixinsight, edited there as well, then merged with foreground in Photoshop.

And yes I got creative with the composition Will put this one on my wall somewhere I think.

Woah... Excellent shot, Murray. That's definitely a print-it-huge-and-hang-it-on-the-wall image.

Very, very well done.

Have to agree, superb. Before you put it on the wall...it deserves to be enlarged! A lot. Well done.
