My wife made me coffee this morning and winked at me when she handed me the cup. I’ve never been more scared of a drink in all of my life.

Leon try a Milomud ..my invention...use a double mug..four heaped spoons of Milo, two heaped spoons of coffee maybe more, four spoons of sugar, three spoons of powdered milk ...add boiling water to taste.

It is very satisfying as you wont feel like eating for hours.

Isn't it properly called acetonitrile? It is somewhat dangerous but not nearly as toxic as inorganic cyanides. It's LD50 is 2460mg/kg which is not much more toxic than table salt (NaCl LD50 is 3000mg/kg). Perhaps the combination with alcohol increases the toxicity?

The trouble with HCN is that it is highly volatile, so best administered in a long cool drink on ice, or beer.

I think it was probably one of Alex's brews! That sounds lethal. Enough caffeine and sugar to get my heart into overdrive. Two of them and I could win the Melbourne Cup while carrying the horse.

Thanks for all your kind responses, however it was not Alice trying to knock me off, it was something I found on the net this morning and was amused by it.
Alex that is some concoction you have there, is that really what you do or just having a lend of me.

Leon I avoid being anything but being entirely truthful as I hate liars and think all liars should be hung although I suppose at times I do play silly and I can accept that you may think I am being silly here...BUT Leon that is the real deal ..the exact recipe and I encourage you to try it..halve the ingredients if using a normal cup but I think you will enjoy it.

I have no opinion on that at all Andrew I merely wish to spread the good news that I have discovered what will in the future be called the most delicious and healthy drink known.

It is only that I am not one to exaggerate but others would probably call it the eight wonder of the world and my modesty probably does not do my discovery justice.
