Sorry Geoff,
woke up this morning with a bit of a cough and chest congestion.
Worried the extreme conditions at Bretti might make it worse.
So I won't be able to make it this trip.
Hope you have a good few days.

never mind Al - i would not have been much company - absolutely buggered from setting up and in bed by 6pm on thursday - hope you don't get what i had

sky was crap for the 3 nites - got tired of singing twinkle, twinkle little star - in bed by 7pm last 2 nites

days were absolutely grand - bit windy when packing up today
all the new camping gear i recently purchased worked as expected

nearly got totalled just past the avon river on the way home , ute coming in the opposite direction veered into the back wheel of the car in front of me , it bounced off and the driver corrected his steering to the left - i veered to my left putting left side wheels onto the grass on the side of the road , the ute missed me by about a foot along the length of my drivers side

Geez, sorry to hear your trip was not very worthy, and of your serious scare at the river. The road there is pretty bad and lunatics are everywhere.

Like Al, I was pretty sick from Wednesday. I figured I picked up something at Westfield on Monday morning at our morning tea. Just starting to get over it now thanks to Codral.
I guess wearing a mask might still help old folks stay healthy.

Same here Glen,
Pretty crook from about Wednesday.
[...and was just starting to feel OK about not wearing a mask.]
Good decision for me not to go camping it seems.
But RAT test was negative.

Unfortunately, the missus seems to have picked something similar up now

Sorry to hear your Bretti experiences were not better Geoff.
Good thing you were alert.
