Hi Everyone.
NGC 2023 HaRGB.

55 x 180 sec ASI 183 MC UV/IR Cut filter
55 X 180 Sec ASI 183 MM Antlia 3.5nm Ha filter.
Esprit 100
Stacked and processed in Affinity.

Ah such a magnificent object, the classic framing just works, you must be happy with that Chris, very clean looking, the horsey head is nicely outlined too

Thanks Mike and Steve,
I forgot to mention that when processing the image I used the Ha stack as a luminance layer. This has the effect of enhancing the colours in the RGB layer. Interesting as the Ha remains mono and not recoloured so does not contribute its own normal Ha colour to the image. I haven’t used that technique before.

Hope that makes sense!

Beautiful image well done! That’s an interesting processing technique with the Ha luminance layer…I think I’ll try that
