m42 The Great Orion Nebula

With absolutely no end in sight of these clouds, and considering the waning position of M42 in the sky, I am having to settle with 5 hours of data. This is 75 x 240 sec + 15 x 30 sec SW ED72 ASI 533 OSC HEQ5 L-Pro filter. Pixinsight processed.

I tried that option in PI, and could never get my head around it, instead I layer the exposures in PS now and paint in the core.

You're obviously much more skilled in PI!
