The South Pacific Star Party: 13 - 15 April, 2007 - who's going?

Just booked for Jenny and myself. Looks like a great event (my first SPSP), and Ilford is on our way back from Lightning Ridge where we'll be spending Easter with the folks. Who else is going this year?

Cheers
Chris

I'll be there...

I'll also have at least Campbell (my son) and maybe Thomas (younger son)...I am confident that my wife will not want to attend...

I did register them all just in case...

I suspect that it might be a bit "chilly" so bring appropriate clothing...

Ill be going again, thats SpSp not Lightning Ridge - havent been there since late 70's.

Based on last year and the people I spoke to at Lostock there should be a fair turn up of IISers.

Also its mandatory to wear your Lostock Tshirt for the group photo.

Let's not start another freezer suit thread invading an SPSP thread Bump the old freezer suit thread.

I'll be there, with bells on!

Unfortunately I wont be able to make it.

I am going to Coonabarabran for 8 days observing over March new moon and then going to the Texas Star Party for 14 days in May. I think squeezing SPSP in between those 2 long observing ventures is squeezing the lemon a bit hard.

We're looking forward to another one. Anna made our booking yesterday, so I guess that means we're going.

It'd be nice to get a group photo of actual IIS members attending, and then Photoshop-in little arrows and numbers to each face in the photo and provide a key so that we (and the rest of the IIS community) can see who was who

I booked online last Friday....I am yet to receive any confirmation but assume the application will be processed forthwith.

I am looking forward to another great starparty. Hopefully the funnel webs will not be quite so prolific, and the weather will stay a bit warmer.

I'm really keen to attend the SPSP (my first ever sp) and joined the ASNSW to get the cheaper rate (not the only reason!). Trouble is, I can't remember if I booked the SPSP itself. Maybe I'll get an e-mail soon, or a memory upgrade.

One way or another, I'll be there.

So far the tally seems to be 10 IIS-ers and 4 'better halves'. (The only time 4 halves make four?).

Group photo sounds like a great idea.

P.S. Is there an attendee's 'slide evening' or something like that?
