Takahashi Epsilon 160 f3.3

Takahashi Epsilon 160 f3.3 (535mm focal length)

This scope was my pride and joy for years of deep sky imaging and in many ways still my most successful. It's rock solid but I am committed to full-frame sensors and this earlier generation Epsilon can't quite do that (not sharply anyway). This an ideal scope for imaging with cropped sensor DSLRs - f3.3 focal ratio delivers deep rewarding images fast.

A few samples:

Pleiades

Great for comets too! Comet Lovejoy Animation on Vimeo

$1500 plus shipping. I'll be at ASV Messier Star Party in Heathcote next weekend (Saturday 14th March) if that helps anyone!

cheers
Phil
