Attachments nlot opening up in IE

In the last week or so I have not been able to open attachments with IE, if I click on one for example, the page comes up and tries to load and nothing happens. No problems at all with firefox. Bloody Microsoft crap I reckon.

I get similar intermittently, IIS pages not loading, refresh normally fixes it. MS is not supporting IE much now, they have gone with Edge. I'm still on W7 64 mostly but don't know for how much longer it will be viable. I like W10 environment but the system is too intrusive and wants to run your life, I feel like I'm losing control of what happens.

My sentiments exactly about Windows 10, I am hanging out as long as possible before going on that path.

If you click the gear icon, top right. select internet options/advanced and reset it, it might come good. Win10 and chrome is the go. Pretty solid now and still a free upgrade from Win7. Installed a PC with it last week and used a win7 product key to activate it. They really want you to move so that January 2020 end of life date for win7 looks to be set in stone.

Yep, the writing is on the wall, but I am hanging in there with Windows 7 until the death.
