Weather

Accuweather says Conditions will be “excellent” for stargazing this Thursday night. Everything else says it will be crap.

Anyone else in Sydney know when we can expect to get some decent conditions? I’m fed up with the cloud.

Finally. It looks like clear skies from tomorrow night for a while. My apps are saying less than 10% cloud, no wind, no rain and good seeing. Fingers crossed they’re right. This is for Sydney I should add.

Skippyskies.com is about 90% accurate I've found and you can look at cloud cover and seeing to about 108 hours in advance if I remember right. Great site !

Just signed up for CFS it looks pretty good. So does the sky today actually. looking forward to getting back out there.

I just set up my scope so I’m basically ready to go. Thinking I’ll focus on helix tonight and then set my alarm to get horsehead early in the morning.
