Eclipse from Adelaide

I took a trip up to Mt Lofty at 2am for the eclipse only to find the access gates locked.

Proceeded to lug 60kg of gear to the summit from the road over numerous trips (Good early morning exercise).

Lucky Chris (Icearcher) was there to share the experience and he assisted with the payload - I appreciated it!

I let the public look through my 6" refractor which I setup for visual use.

Everyone was polite, courteous and respectful and I met a lot of fantastic people.

A very surreal experience that I'll remember for a very long time.

Attached are my captures of the event.

- Taken through the 102mm Triplet on NEQ6 with the Nikon D800

Very good. Clarity is remarkable. Definitely worth the planning of taking up a good scope and mount. I sure everyone agreed with your generosity..
