[SOLD] 12" Zambuto Primary Mirror

I purchased this mirror from Carl Zambuto in 2014. If you are in the market for a primary mirror you will know the reputation that Carl has for producing the finest mirrors available. This 12" is no different, and has provided me with the most stunning lunar, planetary and deep sky images.

This is a recent generation mirror that comes from Carl's own coating facility.

Diameter is 305mm, focal length 1500mm, f/ratio 4.9

I have washed the mirror once since receiving it, using the same method as described by Roland Christen of AstroPhysics. The surface has some dust on it now and could do with a wash, but I will let the new owner perform that task to their satisfaction. Otherwise, the surface condition looks superb.

To answer a couple of questions.

This mirror came out of my Orion XT12g dobsonian, and will fit straight into all similar Orion and SkyWatcher dobs to replace the factory mirror.

Landed in Australia the new price is a little over $3000, with currently a 10 month waiting list.
