Large meteorite over the hunter?

Hi guys just wondering if anyone caught what caused the sonic boom over the hunter valley early this week? Reports are saying meteorite but I am yet to see any photo evidence. There has been a few earth quakes around Muswellbrook over the last few weeks. I was outside at the time and heared what sounded like thunder, i knew no storms were around as I checked only minutes before.

Didn't think they are allowed to break the sount barrier over urban areas. I didn't hear the usual fighter jet sounds before or after the boom, have only read reports of a meteorite on facebook.
