M27 With ASI 1600mc 14min total

hi to all I have had another go at M27 this time was unity gain with 14 x 1 min subs darks and flats only lite processing in Nebulosity 4 .
I am still working on the flats just using a cheap light panel but have my light box on its way from Pete so this should improve them 100% any comments good or bad are most welcome
cheers Pete

Looking good. Flats look pretty good to me. The slight tendency to be brighter toward bottom and right could be flats, but could be moon and sky gradients. Very easy to fix and barely perceptible anyway. Lot of it about.

Thanks Mike and Trish for your kind comments yes I think the lightness in the corners you mentioned are due to a little light leakage form the light panel in the flats but the new light box should fix this problem .

Yeah pretty good from 34deg South Pete... and through the glow of Sydney too I gather..? No obvious flats issue either.

One I would love to hit from further North one day

Mike

under those conditions it is an exceptional image.

the stars seems slightly muted in colour - maybe you could try a little less gain to stop them from saturating? the nebula itself is beautiful though.

Thanks Rick
I think next time I image this object I will frame it a bit better somewhere in the middle I am considering replacing the GSO focuser on the scope for a Moonlite focuser .
