Your experiences with Digital Camera Warehouse please

Hi Guys, Just wondering has anyone here purchased any Lenses and/or Camera equipment from, Digital Camera Warehouse, and if so how did you rate the service.

I have never purchased from them, however I am considering getting a substantial hefty lens in the near future, so your experiences and advice with this supplier would much appreciated.

Thanks

Leon

Bought a few items through them, the last in 2015. Some where pretty substantial. Good service with reasonably fast delivery. People there seem to have a fair idea of the gear they sell, at least the ones I've got hold of on the phone. No complaints really. Except maybe their promotional email are a bit annoying but not enough for me to do anything about it...

Hi Leon

I have bought a Canon 60Da and later a Tokina 14mm lens and a Lowe Pro camera backpack from them. I went into their Northcote store to purchase all of these items after having discussed them over the phone. The 60Da they had to order in - it arrived on time and the communication was excellent. The lens and camera backpack were in stock items. I agree with Mirko wrt his impression of the staff. I found them friendly, courteous and helpful. HTH

Fine - over what... 6,7 years I've bought 3 cameras, lenses and a few accessories from them, all good, no issues whatever. Latest was my GX85, three lenses and other bits totalling $3.5k.

Some were bought online, one camera I preordered (arrived when predicted) and more recently I visited their Kent St store to buy my GX85 and lenses. The chap there was quite knowledgeable regarding the pros and cons of the 4 cameras on my shortlist.

Reassuring also that they have bricks and mortar stores as well as online. Few purchases over 10 years online and stores - never any probs.
