I have a Celestron C8 OTA for sale that originally came off a Nexstar 8. It has very sharp optics and is in excellent working condition. Optics have been professionally cleaned. This OTA was made in the U.S.A

$750 with local pickup or Buyer pays shipping.

Comes with the following accessories

1.25" visual back
1.25" diagonal
ADM dovetail rail.

Cosmetically the OTA is in good condition with a couple of marks, most notably there is a very shallow dent near the dovetail and a approx. 15mm scratch on the tube. Red dot finder not included

Will this fit on a Nexstar 5 mount?

usually its nexstar 6/8 mount & 4/5 mount..you may fit it but the legs on the smaller sized OTA mount are thinner diameter -more vibrations

I expect the c8 would not swing all the way vertical and would be too unstable on the nexstar 5 mount.
