the stunning Cape Byron Lighthouse

So everyone knows this is Australia's most easterly point

Arguably Australia's most powerful lighthouse (don't know who would argue but..)

Anyway I am just back after a long weekend in Byron Bay. I didn't take any serious equipment as I was traveling lite- no more than 7 kgs in total in person

I didn't have my binos, my tracking mounts (polarie, sightron and of course I didn't have my EQ6 or any AUTO-tracking gear)

But

I had a Canon Powershot s 120..belongs to my daughter who kindly loaned it tp me. Hopefully willingly

I also discovered a (non CDHK) hack that allows (relative) night sky images. Here are some results from yesterday and day before

appreciate any feedback or suggestions
