EOI: Stellarvue SV110ED-25SV

Testing the waters at this stage.

Thinking of selling near-mint condition Stellarvue 110mm ED doublet f/7 as I have more scopes than I'm using.

I bought this new about three years ago, not long before the model was discontinued. I was lucky to get it as it's been a great scope for me. This was the latest version with 2.5" rack & pinion focuser that is a delight to use.

The Stellarvue C9S case is a heavy-duty semi-hard case and is made to last. It is much better than the thin aluminium cases that many scopes come with.

Performance of this scope is way above a number of other ED doublets I've owned in the past. I found it to be very good for planetary observing, with excellent image quality even at silly magnifications like 300x (the sweet spot with my eyepieces is more like 190x - 230x).

Note this is the solid tube version, i.e. it doesn't have the removable section for bino-viewing.

Included items:

Metal screw-on objective cover
Stellarvue C9S case
Heavy duty CNC tube rings
Vixen dovetail bar

Pickup only as I don't have the shipping boxes.

Asking $1200 ono.

Enquiries by PM please.
