Smile About the quality of my photos

Many times people talk about the lack of focus of my photos. Or about noise, shape or colors of stars.

Well, I found a photo from ESO done in July 2015 with New Technology Telescope - La Silla Chile about Nova Centauri 2013.
note: It is active and visible up to now, past 18 month !

I did a comparison with part of my 3 last photos and ESO: http://astronomia-e-astrofotos.10697...056/PHOTOS.jpg

note: The photo from ESO and article about the NOVA Centauri 2013 can be seen in http://www.eso.org/public/images/eso1531a/

Jorge, your photos are definitely not out of focus. You split very close doubles and I can tell your 12" F5 is well collimated. Better collimated than my scope for sure. I would probably process them differently, but then everyone has their own way.

Thank you Kevin. You are always together and close. My intent with this comparison is to show that despite of the site and camera, we can get excellent photos from some kind of DSOs.

When you shot cluster and stars some apparent imperfection isn't a true imperfection. Look the yellow and red stars on ESO photo. See the distortion of the Airy disk. They are similar in mine photos.

Did ESO use DSLR Canon, also ?
