No I didn't say Last Post, and I can't play the buggle anyway!

Has anyone had problems with submitting posts and being logged out (I assume timed out) before you submit it and having it disappear?

I just had it happen and it has happened it the past as well (maybe I'm doing something wrong?)

Regards

Glenn

It hasn't happened to me, and I assume it doesn't happen regularly or we'd hear more about it.

How long between pressing reply and pressing submit did you wait?
Were you doing a quick reply, or did you Go Advanced?

I haven't lost any posts, but I've found that unless I tick the "Remember me" checkbox (I think that's what it says) when logging in I will be asked to login again if I haven't clicked on a link for 10 or 15 minutes.

That'd be 15 minutes, because that's the cookie timeout period.

Glenn, could that have been your problem?

Mike,
I was at work, and distracted, so it could have been 15 mins.
When does the 15 min start, is that from starting to type my post?
Does ticking the remember me box stop this from happening?
Regards
Glenn

From your last "activity", usually that means pressing on a link.

Yes, and it means you won't need to login when you next visit.
