NGC 4755 - Jewel Box

GSO 305 mm - Canon T3 - 5 x 3 min - ISO 400 - Skyglow filter - OAG - Coma corrector

Large full version 4290 x 2856 px 1.8 Mbytes in

http://www.astrobin.com/182313/B/

note:I was having problems with my coma corrector. I discovered that the problem is position of camera Canon inside the focuser. Nothing with coma corrector.
The large version in Astrobin shows it. And I am quite at the limit of distance: 83 mm.

short words: when screwing to fix the camera, it can cause some tilt and will create fake coma at one side of the photo. With my set I need to tighten a determined screw first. If I tighten the other firstly ... DISASTER !

The jewel box is always nice Jorge, have you tried NGC 3293 [The Pendant]? I think it is just as beautiful.

Yes, in 2013 and 2014. You can see the images, with links to Astrobin, at:

Cluster and nebula. Another jewel in the sky !

Hi Jorge,

lovely jewel box well done.
I think I have a similar issue to you, some times I get severe 'tilt' on the left side of my photos. I think its the focuser actually causing it so now I try to take great care when inserting and tightening the camera/etc in place. doesn't always work though!

nice 93 Jorge. You seem to get far more clear skies than I do, so it was a bit silly of me to think that you might not have imaged that one.
