Reluctantly I find myself selling a family heirloom (heartless SWMBO has ordained!)
A Set of 2 matching 1950s Era Solid Timber Wardrobes
Original Owner - my father
Measuring 6'x4'x22" (Imperial)
184cm x 122cm x 54cm (Metric)
A Matching pair
With Rare "period" handles a feature
As are the beautiful timber grain patterns of the doors (is it Art Deco, or is it French Polishing - I don't know - can you tell me?)
One has Three Drawers and two shelves one side, full hanging the other side. (drawers in great condition)
The other has Full Hanging one side and Hanging with upper shelf on the other.
Key lock and clip lock on each door - working fine -- Each Comes with 1 key. Doors can be opened from inside -- a key feature when playing hide and seek - Sorry!
This wardrobe has been used for 60 years and is showing signs of wear you would expect from a family of three boys.
One door on the first wardrobe (right door as you look at it) was unfortunately damaged by careless removalists and has been repaired by moving or replacing the hinges. Some damage to frame also.
Quite Bulky so Local Pick Up Only
Renovating, so want to shift them soon. Happy to give them to an IISer who can pick them up in the short term. (listed elsewhere)
Or I can help with delivery within say 70k (conditional)
NSW Central Coast -- Wyong Area
Thanks for looking
