Does anyone know more about this quadruplet?

or this one:

I would be interested in star tests.. bright star in the centre and in the corners of the (FF) sensor.... or MTF number

I have a triplet from the same mob and I've been very happy with it. If the quality of their quadruplet is the same I'd say go for it.

The 65 seems to b the same scope as the astrotech edq65, there are threads on CN about some of them with square stars, due to misalignment of the rear elements
Astrotech no longer carry the scope, TS & sharpstar do

Interesting, I wondered why Astrotech had dropped that scope from its line-up. I had an AT65-EDQ and was extremely happy with the results I got from it. Colour correction and field flatness were top-notch. I can post some pics if you'd like to see them.

Dan is quite right. This scope appears in a number of guises.
I've seen them 2nd hand for around $US650 as they always seem to be for sale.
No direct experience, but the numbers of them on the used market would seem to indicate they're not all that good.

I have the Astro-tech version. I've only used it visually but I find that it is optically excellent and very well contructed but a little heavy.

At65

Hi I have the AT 65 found it reliable and fairly decent optics - image taken with AT65 and ST8300 C. The only alteration I made was to remove the stock focuser and replace with a motorised Moonlite

from some of the reports on CN -a few of the scopes had too tight retaining rings -1 or 2 users loosened themselves & were lucky enough they were OK..some users were very happy with their scopes

the other reason why AT dropped the line is min order was 30 units - apparently their take on sale price was a much lower margin compared with their other ed doublets [the 70/72mm] so that with the lens issues tey do not stock
