A cloudy Full Moon over Brisbane city

Hi all,

I haven't had much of an opportunity to do any nightscape photography for a while, but I knew that the Full Moon would be rising behind Brisbane city tonight so I had a go at capturing it. Lots of cloud around (especially near the horizon), but this gave quite a nice effect once the Moon started to emerge.

This is a 1.3 sec exposure with my Canon 6D and 70-200 f/4L @ 200mm, f/4.5 and 400 iso.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Stephen

Hey, that is very good !
Almost 'Gotham City' like. Very surreal.
Nice work.

Beautiful work Stephen,very well done!

Good to read spec's,I have a 70-200 F2.8,that I'd love to use in this field.I've noticed you have you have used your 70-200 to very good effect at this site.

Almost still wished I lived in Toowong at the bottom of the hill

Thanks very much for the comments everyone! And apologies for being so late to respond... I've been away on holidays for a few weeks and forgot about this thread!

Cheers,
Stephen
