Thanks for your concerns and apologies for the long drop out. It started with friends visiting from overseas, leading to a lot of travelling whence slowly, astronomy slipped down the agenda. Inevitably, in our busy lives, when a gap appears something else fills it, so I just haven’t been active enough to contribute anything to the Forum astronomy-wise.
Things are looking up though; I just received a ‘phone call from Ron at Sirius Optics, advising me that an Orion 12VDC adapter has arrived for my Canon DSLR. I was hoping it might have been delivered on AF1…
I did take a peek at the Forum every now and then, prompted by IIS Group mail outs, so pardon my rudeness for not letting you good folks know that I was still alive and kicking, albeit not looking up at the heavens, apart from one or two big events such as the recent Lunar Eclipse and the gorgeous big Sunspot AR2192.
The special IIS Correspondent whose nom de plume is Sir H0ughy has been kind enough to share some of his work with me, via personal e-mail, so I guess I just became a lurker.
Cheers
Dennis
