Hi Narayan,
Tonight's evening news on television featured a gentleman who had
already been out and captured it.
In another indication that warmer months are coming, today we
sighted our first goanna of the season.
They are a very regular sight here neighbouring the Kuring-Gai Chase
National Park and we use to typically see the last one in Easter before
they would go into hibernation and then the first would typically emerge
around very early October. But anecdotally in the past few years
they have been hibernating later and waking up and becoming active
earlier. So we did a double-take with one being active in late August
taking advantage of today's warmer weather.
