M20 Pixinsight Repro

I am learning how to use PixInsight and I have tried it out on my M20 pic. This is a centre crop just to show some detail in M20. The Stars were leaping out all over after the stretch so I have applied a simple Morphological transformation to reduce the stars and bring out the Gas! At this focal length there is only so much that you can do as my set up is more suited to wide view!!

Hope you like it.

Paul

EDIT

Updated version with colour Cast removed

That's certainly a nice deep view with some great detail. I think it does have a strong red cast though, the blue reflection nebula is purple and the background is red. Should be a quick fix in PixInsight though

Thanks Rolf, Still got the trainer wheels on with PI I'll give it a tweak. I was surprised how deep it went with only 2 10 minute Lum subs and 1 each of 5Mins for RGB.

All the best Paul

Should look very nice once you deal with the colour cast, Paul.

Cheers,
Rick.
