NGC 2438 and the Calabash nebula in colour

Here's a colour version of NGC2438 and the Calabash nebula. The image is a full resolution crop. Perhaps a bit over stretched but I wanted to bring out as much of the faint stuff as possible.

Nice result Steve, that outer most ring is pretty fain huh? the baby's rattle stands out nicely though, well done

Thanks Mike. It sure is faint all right. As usual more exposure would have helped but the law of diminishing returns was beckoning so I thought that was long enough.
