automatic logout time

Is there anyway to increase time before the auto logout kicks in?

I just spent 45 min writing out a obs report to find it all gone when I couldn't go further after the auto logout kicked in and having to resign back in when submitting report.

I should have copied as precautionary but this is a really annoying problem to have to keep logging in every time you spend some time writing a post and submitting it.

You need to ensure you tick 'remember me', and then if it takes 45 minutes to reply, make sure you copy the text before hitting submit - just in case.

The timeout is generally 15 minutes of inactivity.

Another tip: open multiple tabs on the site. Before you submit your message, refresh one of the other tabs first. That will sort things out with the site and you should have no problems with your message.
