Old Bridge

Here is another shot from the same night as the church shot. I had spotted this old bridge during the day on a scouting trip. I thought perhaps the centre of the milky way would be right over the top of it, unfortunately it didnt quiet line up as I'd hoped but I'm still happy with this composition.

The bridge was light my by 96 LED light, it has a warm orange filter on the front of it, I like the colour that the filter projects at night adds a warmth to the scene instead of the cooler white of the LED. I had to set the timer for 10 seconds, run down the road flash the light then run back in the dark to see if I got the shot. I'm guessing I would have looked pretty strange to the cars going up and down the road.

This is a single shot, I have some pano's which I'll have to stitch up and post up as well. Canon 6D, 24mm @ f2.8 ISO 3200 for 15 seconds.

Let me know what you think

Matt

Beautiful photo Matt.

Nice composition and the green grass contrasts nicely with the Milky Way.

Ross.
