Tired of not being able to get out!! ISS and Graves.

Getting a little tired of the less than perfect weather over the last 4 weeks up here (Sunny Queensland, come on !! ).

Went for a drive on the hope of getting something + knew the ISS was making a bright pass tonight.

Here are two shots from a church and grave yard at Brooweena (50km west of Maryborough) ...

D800, 30sec, iso3200, f2.8 14mm.
3 shots for the ISS (2 stars and one foreground)
No so happy with the church, but I'll get it much better next time!

There are a couple more on Facebook if you are interested but these were the best two.

Great looking photos Michael.

I love the first one but the second shows great potential....work on it.

Were you alone?.......were you scared?

Ross.

Send the first one to Asterisk (APOD).

It is electrifying.

lol.... all i will say is the cows and "other" farm / bush animals can make quite funny sounds at night, I will have to admit to thinking "oh, I wounder what makes that type of sound" - They definitely weren't from old MacDolands farm!

Really really nice both of them. Big fan of the recent graveyard shots. Heaven and Earth, ashes to ashes, a beginning and an end, all captured in one. Just fantastic stuff,. Thanks for presenting them.
