Despite the windy conditions and the spray I was pleased to catch the top of Wentorth Falls in the Blue Moutains at night.

Thanks for looking

Nice composition and lighting Carlos. Certainly looks windy. How far down the track did you go? Have been there several times but never at night.

Michael.

A beautiful photo Carlos.

Well composed and such "smooth" colour.

Thanks Andrew definately recommend it. Not sure if you have one but a miners head torch would be best suited for walking around the bush trails and in and along the waterfall.

Thanks Michael About a minute walk down as far as the Waterfall crossing which is where it took this photo, but not right down to the bottom.

I'd like to go back and do the entire Valley of the Waterfalls walk by day which takes around 5 hours each way and then once I've familiarised myself with the trail go and do the same by night, camera in hand of course.

Thanks Ross yes I find moon-lighting in the bush comes up really pretty and rainforest like.

That is an essential part of my kit, I would be lost without it. Literally :-)

I have been meaning to do that myself, on the Wentworth Falls side, but also down into the big canyon on the northern side, out of Govetts Leap or Perrys Lookdown.

It would be a big effort, especially at night, but I think that it would be rewarding.

cheers
Andrew
