Star Party Skies

I was walking along the observing field on the Friday night at the IISAC2013 star party with my camera and tripod and stopped for a few shots to capture the 'scene'.

Unfortunately I didn't really get the shot I wanted, needed more telescopes in the field of view. I was too busy looking at the sky

Still, this turned out ok so I thought I'd share. The clouds did clear, by the way

Usual settings: 30s, ISO6400, 6D, Samyang 14mm f/2.8

- Large

Thanks for looking.

Wow, great combination of tones and colours. I really like the motion blur in the clouds too.

Nice!
Does feel like its not level. Probably is.

Do recognize that land cruiser with the camper trailer. Damn thing nearly ran us off the road as it came charging past at a zillion miles an hour....!
