Saturn 8 April

Hi there!

I have had a second go at Saturn last night. Despite some wind shaking the scope, the seeing was better than on the previous occasion.

I am very happy with this image. I think it's one notch up prom the previous one (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=105513). I have enough detail not to push the sharpening too much. There is some detail in the ring and there is even a hint of the Hexagon at the pole.

(ASI120MM and x2.5 Powermate on SW 10")

Cheers,

Eric

Eric, nice image some really good detail and the rings are good. Concidering the conditions we are all fighting against around the counrty you should be really happy with it.

Getting good detail there Eric. Just takes time to learn all the little steps.
What capture program are you using with the ASI?

Thanks Carl, Paula, Gavin, John and Niko!

Allan, I use FireCapture as it recognise Focus Pal (the software that works with my FCUSB). But I must admit that it crashes often with the ASI. I also like SharpCap but it doesn't seem to recognise the FCUSB.

Cheers,

Eric
